My holy grail foundation!!

I have spent years trying to find the perfect foundation which I think I have just now. I currently use Clinique Superbalanced foundation in Alabaster which suits my combination skin. I find it a nice light foundation with moderate coverage which can be built up which i find great for nights out.  It helps even out my skin tone and covers small blemishes before applying concealer.
I dont find it the best to stop shine as I usually have to powder up around lunch time but still keeps it coverage.  I think I am on my 6th bottle now and have tried out others in between but keep coming back to it as its my sae foundation.
I usually apply it with my fingers as find it gives a better finish than using a brush.  Having said that, have just bought a new Jemma Kidd foundation brush so will have to give it a try with that!
The foundation isnt priced too bad at £21 for 30ml and usually lasts me a good few months.
A cheaper alternative when I need a bit more coverage is Rimmel Match Perfection in Ivory which is around £8.99.  It blends lovely into my skin and hides pretty much every scar, blemish and mark on my face so is really good when I'm having a bad skin day.  The only downside I have with this foundation is it starts to feel slightly sticky if i dont powder up during the day which is a bit of a pain but still keeps its colour and coverage which is the main thing.

I am desperate to try a couple I have read about; Lancome Teint Idole which I have just got to try so will blog shortly after trying and Jemma Kidd light as air foundation.
